Synopsis:
Calling out to all aspiring young musicians! Professional Jazz musicians always make it seem such a breeze, playing gig after gig, improvising on the go, remaking jazz standards fresh each time. Fancy learning a trick or two on Jazz Theory and Improvisation?
Let Rick Smith (Resident Guitarist, Harry’s Boat Quay), Norman Seck (Pianist), Colin Yong (Bassist/Flautist), Rizal Sanip (Drummer) and Mandy Gaines (Resident Vocalist, Harry’s Boat Quay) share tips and tricks with you on how to play with a Jazz band at any jamming session.
Participants to have a basic proficiency in any of the following instruments: Piano/Keyboards, Guitars, Bass, Drums, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, or Trombone.
