RP receives Minister of Defence Award 2008

The Total Defence Awards is an occasion where MINDEF/SAF acknowledges the employers and civil resource owners who have made an important contribution to the Total Defence of Singapore.
Having won the Distinguished Defence Partner Award and Meritorious Defence Partner Award in 2007 and 2006 respectively, RP is pleased to receive the most prestigious ”Minister for Defence Award (MDA)” this year. This award is given to 10 organisations who have demonstrated strong support for Total Defence through their company policies and HR practices. Click

The Total Defence Awards Presentation Ceremony and Gala Event was held on 30th July 08 at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The “Minster of Defence Award” was presented by Guest of Honour, Minister Teo Chee Hean. Mr Yeo Li Pheow, PCEO, received the award on RP’s behalf.
Prior to the awards ceremony, RP hosted the SAF Day Combined Rededication Ceremony for the North/North-east zone on 1st July 2008 at The Republic Cultural Centre. Mr Yeo represented RP to sign the Declaration of Support for NS.
