Indian Cultural Group (RPICG)
won the Championship Challenge Trophy for AARATHAANA 2006. This annual
competition, organized by Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Indian Cultural Society, is the most prestigious local Indian All-Arts Competition amongst
all secondary level and tertiary level academic institutions. The competition is
noted for being a springboard for most of the top local Indian performing
artist.
RPICG’s members
qualified for the finals of all 3 components of the
competition: singing, customary costume parade and dance. We performed exceptionally well in all 3 categories.
RPICG won the Championship Challenge Trophy in 2005 and has defended its championship during
the finals held on the 30th September 2006 @ Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s
Convention Center.
RPICG is proud to
have contributed in keeping RP’s flag flying high.
We congratulate
