We live in a world of rapid change. Everyday seems to bring reports of exciting new developments in science and medical technology. Such technology aims to save and improve our lives, but it also raises many ethical issues.
UK universities are not just at the forefront of the scientific developments, but they are also deeply involved in research and teaching related to these ethical issues.
Open to all students, teachers and researchers, this event aims to provide an introduction to bioethics (ethical issues relating to medicine and the human sciences), through a lively discussion session with 4 UK experts from the following universities:
· University of Birmingham
· Keele University
· University of Manchester
· University of Oxford
Participants can take the chance, too, to find out more about these experts’ research and also the opportunities in the UK for study at Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral level.
Admission is free and seats are limited; please register early to avoid disappointment.
