Diploma in Design for Interactivity (R36)
Course Structure
To fulfil the requirements for the full-time diploma, students need to successfully complete a total of 30 modules. The course consists of foundation modules and core discipline modules.
Year 1
Covers the common core modules of Cognitive Process and Problem Solving, Introduction to Communication Practice, Enterprise Skills, Science, Mathematics, Introduction to Programming, Creative Concepts, and Digital Media Arts.
Year 2
Begins with core-disciplinary modules in History of the Arts, and Arts Criticism & Analysis. Students go on to take core-specialisation modules in Anthropological Studies, Interaction Design, The Art of Story, Interactive Entertainment, Sci-Art and Site-specific Art.
Year 3
Focuses on a final core-disciplinary module in Creative Media Enterprise. To successfully complete the programme, students will have to take core-specialisation modules in Wearable Technology, Sequential and Motion Design, Humanist Computing, and Smart Architecture.
