The Singapore HR Awards is organised yearly by the Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI) to celebrate the success of organisations and HR professionals for their leading human capital strategies. Held at Grand Hyatt Singapore, the gala dinner was graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, Minister of State for Community Development, Youth and Sports.
This year, our Principal, Mr Yeo Li Pheow, is awarded the Leading CEO award. The award is presented to inspiring leaders whose leadership and commitment towards innovative and effective HR ideas and practices, has created significant contribution to the progress of HR in their organisation. The award serves to honour our Principal for his strong dedication and ongoing support in our HR practices and for playing a pivotal role in shaping our staff development and leadership programmes and improving on our employee engagement.

The Polytechnic is also honoured to be conferred the Corporate HR Award for the second consecutive year! The award is presented to organisations that have clearly demonstrated effective, creative and proactive HR and people management practices in at least 4 HR Leading Practices categories. In addition to the Leading CEO Award, RP is presented with three Leading HR Practice Awards in the following categories: Talent Management, Retention & Succession Planning, HR Communications, and Learning & Human Capital Development. Mr Anderson Lim, Director of Human Resources and Ms Chia Chew Lee, Deputy Director of Human Resources of RP, received the Corporate HR Award and Leading HR Practices Awards on RP’s behalf respectively.

These awards will continue to serve as motivation for the HR team to continuously improve our people management strategies for the benefit of our people. Lastly, the team would like to share these awards with everyone in RP and thank all for their support.
