In conjunction with this seminar, SEG also signed an MOU with Texas Instruments (TI) Singapore (Pte) Ltd to establish a joint laboratory – RP-TI Low Power Wireless Applications Joint Laboratory. This is TI’s first such undertaking with a tertiary institution here, and will see the company invest both its expertise as well as funding towards the laboratory, which will boast state of the art equipment for development and testing. The lab is now equipped with the necessary development kits and software to develop low power wireless applications.
