HSBC/NYAA Youth Environmental Awards 2009
Six young environmentalists (three winners, three merit award recipients) were recognized for their outstanding contribution towards environmental protection and nature conservation at this event.
Soh Zhi Hao Jasper (Republic Polytechnic Conservation Interest Group President 08/09, Third year Diploma in Environmental Science student) was awarded the HSBC/NYAA Youth Environmental (Merit) Award 2009.
Sabrina Choo (Republic Polytechnic Conservation Interest Group Secretary 08/09, Third year Diploma in Biotechnology student) was shortlisted for final selection interview.
Other Republic Polytechnic representatives include: Tay Jit Ling Jackline, (Republic Polytechnic Conservation Interest Group Publicity Manager 08/09, Third year Diploma in Materials Science student) and Kek Siyu Rachel, (Republic Polytechnic Conservation Interest Group Secretary 09/10, Second year Diploma in Materials Science student).
