Minimum Entry Requirements for AY2011

International Students are invited to apply for admission to diploma programmes commencing in April 2011. The application link for the admission exercises will only be available on the opening date of the application window at 10:00AM (Singapore Time)

Please provide certified true copies of your certificates and documentation with detailed results in English language.

NOTE: Prospective students who wish to take the Entrance Assessment in Singapore should apply only during the “All International Qualifications” 1 application window. (Please refer to the table below) 1

You may also apply if you possess other qualifications (such as Government-administered Secondary School/High School examinations) that are equivalent to the Singapore- Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Levels.

  • Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email if they need to take an Entrance Assessment.
  • Applicants who submit IELTS results are required to meet minimum of 6.0 for all bands (Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 650 (Paper- based), 173 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based). Meeting the minimum scores does not automatically exempt a shortlisted candidate from the entrance assessment.
  • For applicants who are submitting TOEFL scores, please request Educational Testing Service (ETS) to send the result directly to Republic Polytechnic (Republic Polytechnic’s code: 2723)
